Welcome to Red Class

Welcome back!

The adults helping your child in Red Class are Miss Bird, Mrs Derbyshire and Mrs Mellor.

PE will be taught on a Friday. Full PE kit (indoor and outdoor) needs to be kept in school at all times.

Swimming kits must be brought in on a Thursday for their swimming lesson.

Reading bookbags need to be brought to school daily and their book will be changed on a Monday. Please ensure to listen to your child read at least 3 times a week to support their reading progression.
Homework will be given out Friday and should be completed by the following Friday.
Spellings booklets are given out at the beginning of each half term. These will be matched to the children’s learning in class. Please help them to learn these in a fun way, some ideas are included at the back of their spelling booklets.
Water bottles need to be in school daily – this should be water only.
Please make sure all items of clothing have your child’s name clearly marked on the inside. Jumpers and coats often go missing around the school, it is vital to have names on them, so that they can be returned to the correct owner.

Please note that teachers do not access Dojo messages, so correspondence must be made through the school office.
